Chrome Amour Concerto

>

Good day, Commandant.

Chrome is slowly walking up to you with a smile on his face.

Looks like it's all set.

His gaze lingers on the elegant wooden box you're holding.

I always make it a point to get to places early when we need to meet.

Have you double-checked the place we're going to and the route we need to take to get there?

"Visit the designated locations, record your shared experiences and messages for each other, and place them in the wooden box that will eventually become a memory mailbox for just the two of you."

So these are the "rules," right?

The library is the first place that needs to be visited. Upon arrival, hand the card to the staff for stamping, and begin writing your first letter to the other person using the provided stationery.

It only takes Chrome a few seconds to start writing. When finished, he carefully folds the letter, seals it, and places it into the wooden box.

Chrome looks up with a gentle smile that plays across his face.

I only wrote down a few lines from a poem and made a list of books I'd like to read.

I hope we get to hang out here every now and then when we're free.

Don't worry about that. Just do what you think you should.

Let's head over to the next place whenever you're finished.

The park nearby is the next place on the list, where you see people strolling everywhere.

Should we consider adding some "momentos" to the memory box?

From the grass, Chrome picks up a fallen leaf with a subtle hint of fresh soil and flowers.

Just thought there were things besides the letters that could speak for our memories.

I hope these things will remind you of everything we've been through together today when you open this box.

Another fallen leaf is picked up. Before placing it in the wooden box, you feel something is missing, so you take out a black pen and draw a smiley face on the leaves. When you're done, you put them in the box, feeling satisfied.

The two leaves overlap as they rest quietly in the corner of the wooden box.

The last place to be visited is this place called "Time-Space Post Office". Participants need to write their final letter here and drop it into the mailbox.

The post office will deliver the letters the next day to the addresses written on the letters. Meanwhile, the memory box will be scanned and printed as a digital model and sent to all participants to be kept permanently.

Chrome

Yup. Think that's it for today.

Together, you and Chrome drop the letters into the mailbox and wait patiently as the post office processes what's in the mailbox now.

Nothing special really. Just a few simple words.

There are greetings for morning, afternoon, and night because I want my letters to fill you with awesome memories when you read them.

There's more to it than that, of course, but...

You'll see what they say when you read the letters yourself.

Well... I could tell you everything I wrote now if you're dying to know.

I didn't want to put down a whole lot of things in my letters since I only wanted them to be there for you when we don't get to see each other.

But we've still got plenty of time today... since it's such a special day.

I don't mind telling you what I wrote, line by line.
