Commandant.
In the twilight hours at Constellia's beachside garden, your awaited companion approaches nonchalantly, accompanied by the gentle rhythm of resting waves.
Bianca holds a transparent box containing several cone-shaped treats wrapped in gold foil.
As she approaches you, she opens the box, takes out one of the treats, and holds it to your lips, her clear eyes glimmering with expectation.
Before you can voice your question, her slender fingers gently push the sweet treat into your mouth.
You bite through the slightly bitter shell, and a sweet almond liqueur flavor floods your mouth.
It's liqueur chocolate.
Noticing how you look when tasting the liqueur filling, Bianca responds with a smile.
I made these this afternoon at a handcrafted dessert shop. I adjusted the ingredients slightly based on your preferences. I hope you enjoy them.
Hearing your response, Bianca breaks into a smile.
When you finish the rest of the chocolate, Bianca, apparently having realized what she came here to do, takes out a date coupon.
So I got this thing on my way here...
It says, "Go on an adventure to the old lighthouse with someone special."
She shows you the coupon, and the lighthouse on it happens to be visible from where you both stand, its rotating beacon hasn't yet started working.
Shall we go and check it out?
With the speedboat you rented at the dock, you find yourself and Bianca fast around the lighthouse before long.
The lighthouse stands silently in the evening sea breeze, its beacon—meant to shine in the deep of night—not yet working.
As you push open the door weathered by sea winds, Bianca, worried that there might be unforeseen dangers, steps in first. Having made sure it's safe, she beckons you to follow.
You enter the lighthouse, but before taking more than a few steps, a gust of wind slams the iron door shut behind you.
With it, the world around you plunges into darkness. Only the extremely faint moonlight from above allows you to make out the vague structure overhead.
Commandant!
Bianca's voice echoes in the darkness.
In the darkness, you've completely lost your sense of distance and direction, each step forward growing more hesitant.
As you fumble around trying to locate Bianca, you feel a hand gently taking your arm.
You catch a fragrance, and you know that it's coming from the ends of Bianca's hair.
Huff...
Then, you feel her breath close to your ear.
When the two of you have found each other and your hands interlocked, Bianca lets out a soft sigh of relief.
I won't let go from now on.
With the help of the faint light, you've managed to approach the spiral staircase. Amidst creaking sounds, you locate the circuit switch, and the lighthouse comes back to life with a gentle hum of electricity.
Together with Bianca, you make your way to the top of the lighthouse.
The warm yellow light rotates in a steady rhythm, causing your shadows to appear and vanish in turns.
This is like a twinkling star.
A solitary star, twinkling in the night sky, guides those lost in darkness.
Just like you, Commandant.
Bianca looks at you and nods gently.
That's why I want to be with you... to spread this light, so more stars can shine in the night.
She doesn't answer immediately. Instead, you both turn your gaze back toward Constellia.
Above the brightly lit city, a burst of fireworks blooms in the night sky.
Even the night sky, illuminated by the colorful bouquets and brilliant hues, cannot overshadow the warm glow of the silent lighthouse.
The lighthouse quietly resonates with the starry sky in the distance and gazes back.
The shadow of the sun, too, becomes one with this mutual gaze.
