The self-proclaimed royal tutor to Helentine, and an equally self-proclaimed aloof artist. Possessing an eccentric taste and an overzealous urge to share, he harbors a peculiar love for both classical symphonies and sitcoms with laugh tracks.

Despite minor artistic disagreements with Helentine, Grand Duke remains a reliable battlefield ally. His ability to draw enemies together allows Helentine's weapons to perform at their fullest potential.

Originally, Grand Duke was a bespoke tutoring AI commissioned by the Spelmin Family for Helentine's classical music education. Programmed as an aristocratic maestro of refined taste, he took immense pride in playing the part. As Helentine's former tutor, he utterly despised her fondness for film and TV soundtracks, dismissing it as "dreadful taste" beneath aristocratic dignity. In response, Helentine could only laugh it off, all while dutifully completing the curriculum Grand Duke laid out for her.

After Helentine was reconstructed into a Construct, Grand Duke was uploaded into her CUB. Empowered by an independent processing system and prompted by Helentine's suggestions, Grand Duke began dabbling in various films and cinematic works.
Things took an unexpected turn, though. Rather than the emotional depth and imagery that cinema excels at, Grand Duke, being an AI, gravitated toward short dramas and short videos. Their high information density, low barrier to understanding, and modular, bite-sized format suited it perfectly, and it was hooked in no time.

Still, its efforts bore fruit. After soaking up a wealth of cinematic knowledge, Grand Duke became widely adored for its utility as a mobile point light source. It can pinpoint the perfect lighting angles for photographers, fill in light to match the mood, and ensure flawless shots every single time, making it an indispensable companion for night photography.
