Background

Background I

Teddy's pro gaming sparring partner, who holds a Master rank of 2000 points and is a legend in the competitive scene. It learns in real-time during matches to improve its own skills and can actively search and download other players' data to help Teddy prepare counter-strategies.

Background II

Even with top-tier processing power and performance, Beep-Boop still can't beat its master, who stands as steady as mountains and rivers. The humiliation it suffers during sparring gets paid back in full to its enemies on the battlefield.

ID 001

Beep-Boop was not originally designed as a CUB. It began as a weak AI worm virus called "Panda Gift," which once swept through Babylonia. The hacker who released it used novel encryption techniques that made it nearly impossible to trace. Even after causing major financial damage, the culprit was never caught.

ID 002

The reason for the hacker's arrest was downright comical. While climbing the ranked ladder, he matched against Teddy, who had just gotten off work in a foul mood. Despite maxing out his parameters and giving it everything he had, she casually ended his 81-win streak. Enraged, he launched a direct cyberattack on her. Teddy quickly traced the attack back to this young genius in the real world, and while digging through his system, she found something unexpected—Beep-Boop, the super-virus, which she effortlessly claimed as her own.

ID 003

According to this young genius, he didn't create Beep-Boop himself. He found the weak AI and turned it into a virus. Later, Teddy personally neutralized the code and upgraded it, then designed a frame to house Beep-Boop. From that point on, Beep-Boop became Spectre's exclusive CUB. It specializes in electronic warfare and excels at both intrusion and counter-intrusion. The Engineering Force trusts it deeply. For a time, due to its limited functionality, it was used as a mobile speaker. At Beep-Boop's own request, combat modules were eventually installed.
